about us

Black Lives Labour was born from the anger and emotion that swept the World following the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests which erupted in May 2020.

As people living in the UK who experience racism and as members of a self proclaimed anti-racist political party, we see how often Labour’s commitment to anti-racism falls short.

Whilst the party harbours racism Labour will be incapable of producing and implementing anti-racist domestic and foreign policies.  Systemic discrimination where it exists in party structures and administrative bodies can no longer be tolerated.

Black Lives Labour will link up the anti-racist struggles within the Party, Local Authorities, the trade unions and our communities. We will campaign relentlessly against racism both within the Party and within society.

Black and white, networked and coordinated we are strong.
